Sidelined is a nonfiction work. It highlights various experiences from my journalism career. With stories from my work at the Boston Globe, Lynn Daily Evening Item, Portland Newspapers and the Lewiston Sun Journal, it is a book 20 years in the making.

In other news, I've got two other novels in the works. Breakwater and Sea of Liberty are part of a trilogy that includes Sons and Daughters of the Ocean. Breakwater could be published as soon as 2011 and serve as a sequel to Sons and Daughters. Sea of Liberty is the prequel, a historical novel on the age of privateering, could be available in 2012.
